A practical workshop to energize your team, and provide them with the tools to work together and achieve challenging goals.
Teams, groups and committees are the major vehicle for getting the work done in most organizations. This is a necessity since some tasks can only be done by the co-operative effort of a number of people.
In order to complete this challenging task, your team needs to be cohesive, focused, dedicated and creative.
Our intensive workshop will give your team members the enthusiasm and the tools to work effectively together.
At the end of the workshop participants will;
- Understand the ingredients of an effective team;
- Evaluate their team's strengths and weaknesses;
- Learn about one another to be able to appreciate and take advantage of the diversity of personalities in the team;
- Learn to work together;
- Be able to communicate in the style of each person so as to avoid conflict;
- Manage their differences (conflict) effectively.
The training will be practical, with a focus on the development of skills. The workshop will be customized to include role-plays and simulations that will match the reality of the workplace. It will employ state-of–the-art adult education techniques that enable people to learn by listening, seeing and hands-on practice. Participants will benefit from ongoing feedback from their peers and the facilitator. The workshop will include a drum circle, which will illustrate the power and joy of being in a successful team as well as the critical ingredients for success.
The atmosphere will be informal, interactive and "safe" in order to encourage participation and openness.
This workshop process will develop the confidence in participants to put their skills into action right away.
Participants will have the ability to call on the facilitator informally at any time, during or after the workshop, for help regarding the use of any skills that they learned in the workshop.
