The Leadership Institute has coaches ready to help clients improve their effectiveness dramatically. We take an individualized approach with each client based on their needs, issues, goals an motivation. Our coaching philosophy is simple: we have high expectations of our clients and expect them to be the senior partner in their process. Our role is not to provide all the answers but to enable the client to discover their own solutions and pathways. We provide the tools, structures and encouragement to help achieve success however they are defined.
The benefits of coaching include:
- Improved relationships
- Higher self-esteem
- Better decisions
- Greater self-awareness
- Clearer focus
- Greater accountability and commitment
- Improved performance and effectiveness
Our coaches help our clients:
- Achieve their goals
- Identify what is not working and the changes necessary for success
- Identify and leverage their strengths
- Develop greater insight into issues that have challenged them
- Clear emotional blocks that inhibit their success and well being
How does the coaching work?
The client books an initial 15 minute 'meet and greet' session to see if there is a fit of chemistry and evaluation of the performance gap. A one-two hour intake session follows either in person or over the phone in which the coaching relationship is structured and the coach comes to better understand the client's focuses, goals, and values. A contract is also established to ensure that both parties have a good understanding about roles, epectations and responsibilities. A schedule is set up for regular 1 hour sessions, in which progress is evaluated and new issues addressed. Each coaching session ends with 'homework' or an 'inquiry' so that the learning and impact continue beyond the coaching sessions.
Psychological assessments are available for further self-discovery. These may include the Life Styles Inventory®, Myers-Briggs Type Inventory® and the Bar-On Emotional Intelligence instrument®.
